Jets Add Physical Forward to Roster

The Jamestown Jets signed physical overage player Brian Fox for the 2010-2011 season.

( Jamestown, NY) The Jamestown Jets are proud to announce they have signed Forward Brian Fox to a contract for this season.  Fox will wear #13 for the Jets this season. The 21 year-old Fox will be counted on to fill a leadership role as one of the three allowed overage players.

“We are very happy to have a veteran player like Brian join the organization.  He’s a great character guy who adds the grit we feel we lacked last year down the stretch and in the playoffs.  In addition to playing a physical game we will look for him to contribute offensively especially up front” said Coach Dennis Canfield.

The 6 foot, 205 pound forward spent parts of last season playing with the Edina Lakers and eventually the Hudson Crusaders of the Minnesota Junior Hockey League. He is expected to help the team by playing a physical style and using his size to create space for his teammates.
