(Jamestown, NY) For the second consecutive season the Jets will play host to the College Showcase and All-Star Game. For three days (Friday-Sunday) Jamestown will be on display for the Northern Junior Hockey League.
(Jamestown, NY)For the second consecutive season the Jets will play host to the College Showcase and All-Star Game. For three days (Friday-Sunday) Jamestown will be on display for the Northern Junior Hockey League. Every team in the NJHL and a team of Russian selects will take the ice to display their talents to coaches and scouts from around the area.
The tournament will begin on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. with a game between the Russian Select team and Team Ulysse. The Jets will play three games over the weekend with the first game on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. against Team Ulysse. The Jets will also play Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. against the Russian Select Team and on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. against the Philadelphia Thunder.
The weekend will culminate with the All-Star Game on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. when the best of the league will be on display. The Jets will send seven players to the game with leading point scorer Jon Gratton (21-26-47) and leading goal scorer Nate Hughes (26 goals) leading the way. The Jets will also send forwards Dan Igielinski and Daniel Denniton, defenseman David Moore and Adam Kesser, and goalie Ethan Adamczyk to the game.
