Executive Details

David has been a retail manager for 16 years and began pursuing a broadcasting career in 2004. David earned a certificate in broadcasting from Sports Management Worldwide in 2004 and has since enjoyed success in many media related jobs

David will be entering his third season as the Broadcaster and Media Relations Director for the Jamestown Jets Jr. Hockey Club. He is responsible for all the aspects of the online broadcast including play-by-play and updating the team website with game previews and recaps. He is also responsible for handling game notes and sending press releases to the local media.

Prior to joining the Jets, David spent two seasons writing for TigsTown.com covering the Erie SeaWolves (Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers) where his duties included writing daily/weekly recaps, as well as interviewing and writing features on future major league ballplayers. He also spent one season as a broadcaster for the now defunct Jamestown Vikings and one season as the PA announcer for the Erie River Rats arena football team.

I addition to his work with the Jets, David is also the Editor-In-Chief of a website owned by online sports company SB Nation and will be a correspondent for The Fourth Period this fall.

David was born and raised in Buffalo, NY where he attended St. Mary’s High School in Lancaster and Erie Community College. He currently resides in Erie, PA with his wife Heather, their daughter Keeley (6) and son Dallas (2).
